Expand your services with a bike unit! This 4-day course covers everything from riding skills to avoiding hazards, from effective use of bicycles in public safety patrol to basic bicycle maintenance. Classes can be assignment-specific or mixed to include riders from all of the 3 professions: law enforcement, security, and/or emergency medical services. Conventional and e-Bike personnel are equally welcome. IPMBA certification available. ILETSB certified.

Designed to transition formerly trained or certified IPMBA bike officers who successfully completed the 4-day course on conventional bicycles. This one-day seminar allows students to review, develop, and improve their bike skills on the heavier, faster, and less maneuverable e-Bike. ILETSB certified.

Students who have successfully completed the IPMBA Cyclist Course will have the opportunity to review past skills and enhance them with more difficult on-bike maneuvers. Riders will increase their confidence on the bike while overcoming balance and riding challenges they may face on patrol. ILETSB certified.

The IPMBA 3-day BRT course will certify riders in Bicycle Response Team and prepare them to manage crowds and ensure the safety of mass public incidents. The course includes numerous practical exercises, and the final day includes scenarios to combine all the skills into realistic use. IPMBA certification available.
A one-day basic crowd management course is available for patrol officers challenged with the movement of large groups of people. An overview of Bicycle Response Team command structure, tactics, and team maneuvers will be covered. This is only an introductory course and does not substitute for the regular 3-day IPMBA BRT course. ILETSB certified.
